First time Blogger- first post on my page design.

OK so I have been hearing so many people talking about "blogging" lately that I decided to give it a try. First off, I considered myself pretty computer literate and good with colors exc. That is before I designed my blog page today. I had some time so I really took some time picking all the different options and colors for my home page. I couldn't believe when I saved all the options and saw the page for the first time.. It has to be 1 of the most ridiculous blog pages around. All the colors I picked were really nice by themselves but combined it's just a mess. I didn't really take the time to check my progress as I went. That's probably not the best idea for anyone starting a page. Oh well, I'm fixing it up. Anyway, I need to check some of the blog's out and see what I'm suposed to do here.
